EDWIN'S JEWELERS

70 Bowery | Manhattan, New York

Company History

Fine Jewelers are defined as craftsmen who have taken the art to new levels using traditional methods as well as modern techniques. Edwin’s Jewelers combines both methods to bring us jewelry which is metropolitan, as well as culturally enriched. The oldest son of a third generation of jewelers, Edwin M Villagomez learned the art of hand-made jewelry in Cuenca, Ecuador, a city known for its craftsmen. He worked mainly with 18-carat yellow gold, producing intricate, latticework type pieces. As a young man, he traveled to the USA where he worked as a jeweler for various retailers. Edwin furthered his studies in jewelry design and diamond grading at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Thus, he learned new techniques which he used in conjunction with his classic South American training.

After gaining sufficient experience, he launched his own NYC enterprise, and began working for the first time with private customers.

Edwin’s Jewelers work with 18 karat white, pink and yellow gold, platinum, sterling silver and leather. They also create distinctive articles, such as sterling silver belt buckles, cufflinks with exclusive motif, and leather bracelets embraced with gold and silver.

You are welcome to view and envision yourself with these jewels; likewise Edwin’s Jewelers would be very delighted to have you visit their Manhattan-based establishment . When you make a purchase, please rest assured that Edwin’s Jewelers will always be there to stand behind the purchase.
